Meet Anthony Leardi


Who is Anthony Leardi?

Anthony Leardi is a lawyer with 23 years of litigation experience and a former Deputy-Mayor of the Town of Amherstburg.

As a lawyer, he prosecuted criminal offences for 13 years as a federal agent for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada.

Anthony has served on many local organizations including the Essex County Nurse Practitioner-led Clinic, the Knights of Columbus, and the Essex County Library Board.

Anthony holds a degree in History from McGill University, a degree in Education from the University of Windsor, and a degree in Law from Western University. He also holds a certificate in Law from the Association of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario.

Anthony is certified by the Ontario College of Teachers and has been a guest lecturer for the Ontario Law Society.

Anthony is proud to have built a law firm from the ground up and has made significant contributions to business developments in Essex County.

Anthony is known for his calm demeanor and was commonly referred to as “the voice of reason” while serving in municipal government. He is a regular volunteer at his local parish, where he and his wife Jackie lead an annual marriage workshop for engaged couples.

Anthony and Jackie reside in Amherstburg with their three children, Carmen, Miriam and Andrew.
